Auto-save stopped announcing itself
Auto-save and the save before a deploy are silent now. Only an explicit save with changes shows a confirmation.
What shipped
- Auto-save no longer shows a "File saved" notice. Neither does the save that runs before a deploy. Cmd+S and the Save button still confirm, when there was something to save.
- A production deploy with the same files as the last one writes "No changes" in History instead of counting every file as modified.
- History marks a version as "built output unchanged" when the source changed but the built files didn't, like a comment-only edit.
Why it matters
Auto-save runs a hundred times a day. A notice for each one is noise, and it was covering dialog content. The History counts now describe your source files, which is what you changed.
