The editor now heals its own connection
Editor loading and live sync recover automatically from network hiccups — reconnection is handled for you, with honest progress and clear status along the way.
What shipped
- Live sync reconnects itself. If your connection drops — a network blip, a laptop waking from sleep, spotty café Wi-Fi — the editor quietly reconnects in the background. You'll see a subtle "Reconnecting" indicator instead of an alarming banner telling you to refresh, and you keep working the whole time.
- Honest loading progress. The editor's loading screen now tracks what's actually happening while your project opens. If a step takes longer than it should, you get a clear message and a one-click retry — never a progress bar stuck at "Ready."
- Clear offline status. Go offline and the editor says so plainly: your edits are kept safe on this device and sync when you're back. Reconnection is automatic the moment your connection returns.
- Faster recovery. The editor notices a lost connection much sooner and restores it without you doing anything — refreshing the page is never the answer anymore.
Why it matters
Your editor should never make you wonder whether it's safe to keep working. Connections drop — that's the internet — but reconnecting is our job, not yours. This release makes the editor's connection self-healing and its status honest, so the only thing you think about is your code.
