Editor controls stay visible with Reduce Transparency on
Toggles, buttons, and menus in the editor now render correctly for anyone using macOS "Reduce transparency" — no more controls blending into the background.
What shipped
- Controls stay visible under Reduce Transparency. With macOS "Reduce transparency" enabled, some editor controls — toggle switches, the font-size selector, dropdowns — were rendering in the same color as their background and effectively vanishing. They now keep their proper contrast, so every control is visible whether or not you use the setting.
- Glass surfaces turn solid instead of blank. Frosted-glass panels now become fully opaque when you've asked for reduced transparency, rather than losing their fill.
Why it matters
Accessibility preferences should make the editor easier to use, never hide parts of it. If you turn down transparency to cut down on visual noise, the interface now stays completely legible — nothing disappears.
