Restore and Production Deploys
Bring back the files from a previous production version, then deploy them to production.
Restore a Previous Version
Each production deployment stores a file snapshot of your source files. To bring those files back:
- Open the Version History panel.
- Open the menu on the version you want and choose Restore.
- Keep Create checkpoint of current files checked, then click Restore.
Odyn replaces your editor files with the files from that version. Files that did not exist in that version are removed.
Restore changes your editor files only. Your site keeps serving the current live version until you deploy again, and no new version number is created.
The checkpoint saves your current files before they are replaced. It appears in Version History, so you can restore it to undo.
Deploy to Production
- Deploy to staging and verify the result on your site.
- Click Deploy to Production in the deployment panel.
Odyn builds your current editor files and publishes them as a new production version. The @latest URL moves to the new version.
To put a previous version back on your site, restore it, then click Deploy to Production.
Production deploys are available on the Beta, Individual, and Team plans. The Free plan deploys to staging only. See Plans and Limits.
Version Pinning
Every production deployment is addressable by its version number. Pinned URLs (@{version}) remain stable even after new deployments. See CDN URL Patterns.
